KUPILAN linseed oil for wood can be applied with a soft brush, cloth or piece of cloth, and each applied layer of oil should be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper. 3 to 4 coats of oil are sufficient, and excess oil is wiped off after application. Wood oil should only be applied to wood that has not been sealed or treated with oil-based oils. Outside, wood that has been finished with oil may lose its appearance due to exposure to the elements, but will remain protected. Interior wooden surfaces are much more likely to retain an oiled finish.
